Eugene Joseph’s Trinidad Dance Theatre (TDT) was founded sixty years ago by Eugene and Jessica Joseph with the vision of using dance as a catalyst for transformation and thus improving the quality of life for all.  TDT was also founded on the belief that everyone, regardless of age or ability, should experience the joy of movement and dance.

TDT operates as a Dance School and Performing Theatre Company with multiple locations offering a full program for children, teens and adults in a variety dance styles (Ballet, Modern dance, Jazz, Hip Hop, Caribbean Folk, Tap, East Indian dance, Ballroom & Latin dance) and Gymnastics 

 

Over the years, TDT has carried on a tradition of dance with emphasis on sustained levels of excellence in performance and interpretations, as well as, on experimentation with indigenous materials, dance forms and techniques with a view to developing a style and form which will enrich the dance and reflect the creativity, flexibility and versatility of the Caribbean dancer.
